Read the record end to end and one pattern holds: 19KEYS builds the room before anyone hands him one.
He has published on his own channel since May 2016 and has been podcasting since 2017, first on Nothing’s Random, the first Trapxart TV podcast, made with Brendan Amechi. He opened his own academy in 2018 and published his first book himself in 2019. Listen Notes now ranks it, 19 Keys Presents High Level Conversations, in the top 0.1 percent of podcasts worldwide. He picks the guests, writes the syllabus and chooses the city.
The rooms kept getting bigger. This record places him in cities in countries and territories: the UK Parliament in 2019, the Royal Albert Hall in 2022, the Apollo in 2023, then Birmingham, Amsterdam, Accra and Kampala in 2025. Shows sold out in Chicago in 2023 and in New York, Houston and Amsterdam in 2025. He has been on the program of every InvestFest since the first, before crowds the organizers put at 14,000 in 2022 and 30,000 in 2026.
Much of it he paid for. Of the free sessions he partnered on in 2024, for Black entrepreneurs, young Black men and Black men’s mental health, he wrote: These are events we do for FREE at our own expense because it’s about Impact. In the middle of the 2025 world tour: I’ve spent hundreds of thousands of dollars of my own money and have not profited from touring. … This was always a mission first movement building community, showing up for the people.
And he keeps arriving early. He was describing machines with their own thinking patterns in April 2018, four years and seven months before ChatGPT. In June 2019 he and Iddris Sandu had his first conversation about OpenAI on the show. He called the 2020s the decade of AI that December, told his audience in June 2020 that skills were the new degrees, and in October 2021 called a spot bitcoin ETF the catalyst for $100,000, twenty six months before the SEC approved one.
A trend follower arrives after the crowd. This record keeps putting him in the room years before it, on his own money, with a syllabus in hand, and he states the mission plainly: Being free means not taking money that muzzles your voice … your impact becomes your income.

Every point on this page comes from a dated source in the 19KEYS archive: 14,607 of his posts on X, 555 High Level Conversations episodes, 1,017 YouTube uploads with 624 full caption transcripts, fifteen transcribed tour lectures, the Birmingham keynote transcribed for this record from the host's video, and the team's trip files. Each concept was searched across all of it, and the earliest receipts were read in context before they were placed here. Chapters III to V also draw on public records outside the archive: festival programs, press reports, company announcements and a podcast ranking, each linked where it is used.
Posts and uploads carry their own timestamps. Episodes from the 2018 to 2020 podcast feed carry only a weekday and a partial date, so each was dated by matching the weekday against the episode number sequence. A show recorded on one day and released later sits at the day it happened, and its dossier gives the release date. Where only an announcement or a team file exists, the event says so.
Captions are automatic and do not label speakers. Where a guest could have said a line, the receipt is marked moderate. The shaded intensity bands count posts and episodes that mention a thread in a given year; they are a measure of attention, not a precise count, and 2026 runs only through the archive date.

The fair claim
19KEYS did not coin cognitive security, cognitive warfare, cognitive renaissance, cognitive debt or the creator economy. Rand Waltzman testified to the U.S. Senate on cognitive security in 2017. NATO's Innovation Hub published a study of cognitive warfare from work done in 2020. The venture firm SignalFire published a market map of the creator economy in September 2020. International Business Times ran "Cognitive Renaissance" as a headline in June 2023. Cognitive debt comes from an MIT study posted in June 2025.
His claim is narrower, and this record can test it. He carried these terms into Black culture while they still lived mostly in Senate testimony, defense studies, venture reports and lab papers, and he defined them for the people in his rooms. Where the originals described threats to states and networks, he aimed them at the individual mind and the creator's income: cognitive security as "protecting the mind's ability to think freely, accurately, and independently," cognitive warfare as the war that "controls how you think," a cognitive renaissance as "stimulating ourselves at a high level instead of just getting high." He folds all of it into what he calls the creator dream: "It's not the American dream anymore. It is the creator dream."
On one term he was not first to the name. The words cognitive debt come from the MIT study, and his June 2025 thread cites it. The idea was on his channel thirteen months before that study, in an April 2024 video titled “Stop Using AI, it’s making you dumb,” where he argued that leaning on AI was leaving people less able to think for themselves.
